Turin lies at the centre of an important junction of motorways, which connects with routes to Liguria, Valle dAosta, Lombardy, Emilia Romagna and by tunnel to France and Switzerland.
There are hundreds of trains to Turin everyday. The two main City stations are Porta Nuova and Porta Susa, both well connected to the local national and international train network.
From the railway station to al Bicerin
From Porta Susa station you can get to Al Bicerin on a lovely route in half a hour walking along Via Garibaldi (pedestrian) and Via della Consolata. Alternatively, you can take No. 10 bus and get off at Rondò della Forca.
From Porta Nuova the route on foot is a little longer, but allows you to touch on many places of interest; the portals of via Roma, Piazza Castello with the Palazzo Reale, the Duomo and Porta Palatina. You can also catch the No. 52 Bus to Via della Consolata.
Turin is served by the Sandro Pertini airport at Caselle, about 16 kms. from the centre. Numerous cities, Italian and European, are linked by daily flights.
How to reach Turin from airport
A coach service runs between the airport and Porta Nuova and Porta Susa, from 7 to 24.00 hours approximately. Tickets cost Euros 3,60 each and the journey lasts about 40 minutes.

There is a new railway line that links the airport with the Torino Dora Station and is run by the Società Satti. The journey costs 2.58 Euros and lasts 20 minutes.

If you wish to travel to the city centre by taxi, its worth knowing it takes about half an hour and costs about 25 Euros.
If you wish to rent a car, you can find the various car rental offices in the arrival lounge. On days of special events or demonstrations, it may be necessary to book in advance.
